Terms & Conditions

Introduction 

These Terms and Conditions form the basis of Enrich Frequent Flyer Programme. They are intended to protect both Members and the Malaysia Aviation Group Berhad. It is the Member's responsibility to read and understand them.

These Terms and Conditions are effective as at the date specified above and may be amended by Malaysia Airlines from time to time. The current Terms and Conditions are those available at this website.

Every Member is bound by these Terms and Conditions.

A. Glossary of Terms /Definitions

Account/Enrich Account

An Account is created when an individual is accepted as a Member of the Enrich programme. The Account will be maintained for as long as the individual remains an Enrich Member in good standing. The Account will be used for the purpose of tracking the Enrich Member's activity in the programme and the miles balance the individual currently maintains.  

Activity

An Activity refers to an Enrich Member's interaction with Malaysia Airlines or an Enrich Partner in which Enrich Miles are accrued or redeemed.

Airline Partner

An airline (other than oneworld Airline) that participates in the Enrich programme where members may earn and redeem Enrich Miles for award tickets.

Award Travel

An Award ticket redeemed for travel on Malaysia Airlines (Full miles or Miles & Cash), oneworld Airlines and Enrich Airline Partners on applicable Economy Class, Premium Economy Class, Business Class and Business Suite seats. Award Travel follow the Terms and Conditions of the airline providing carriage.

Bonus Miles

Bonus Miles may be offered for using qualifying products and services of Malaysia Airlines, oneworld Airlines and Enrich Partners. Bonus Miles are offered for a defined period of time and may not be offered to all Enrich Members in all locations. Bonus Miles do not count towards Elite Tier Status qualification but may be used towards the redemption of Enrich Awards.

Class of Service Bonus Miles

Class of Service Bonus Miles are accrued when an Enrich Member travels Malaysia Airlines in Business Class, Business Suite or other class of service as defined by Enrich. Class of Service Bonus Miles count towards Elite Tier Status qualification as defined under Elite Miles. Class of Service Bonus Miles may be used towards the redemption of Enrich Awards.

Codeshare Flight

Flight that has an airline code or number of one airline on the ticket, but which is on an aircraft operated by another airline.

Great Circle Distance

Method of calculation used to determine the number of actual flight miles an Enrich Member will earn on a qualifying flight with Malaysia Airlines, oneworld Airlines and Airline Partners. The Great Circle Distance is the shortest distance between any two points on the globe as measured over the earth's surface.

Elite Miles

Elite Miles are used to track an Enrich Member's qualification towards Enrich Silver, Enrich Gold and Enrich Platinum Tier Status. Elite Miles will only be earned on Malaysia Airlines, MASwings, Firefly and oneworld Airlines qualifying fares on Economy, Premium Economy, Business and Business Suite .

Elite Miles may not be used towards the redemption of Enrich Awards.

Elite Sectors

Elite Sectors are used to track an Enrich Member's qualification towards Enrich Silver and Enrich Gold and Enrich Platinum Tier Status. An Elite Sector is a flight from origin to destination which carries a single flight number. Elite Sectors will only be accrued on Malaysia Airlines, MASwings, Firefly and oneworld Airlines on qualifying fares on Economy Class, Premium Economy Class, Business Class and Business Suite. Elite Sectors may not be used towards the redemption of Enrich Awards.

Elite Tier Bonus Miles

Elite Tier Bonus Miles can only be accrued by Enrich Silver, Enrich Gold and Enrich Platinum Members. Elite Tier Bonus Miles are accrued based on flight activity and other activity as defined by Enrich. Elite Tier Bonus Miles do not count towards Elite Tier Status qualification. Elite Tier Bonus Miles may be used towards the redemption of Enrich Awards.

Elite Tier Status

The generic term used to refer to Enrich Silver, Enrich Gold and/or Enrich Platinum status.

Enrich

Loyalty and Frequent Flyer Programme operated by Malaysia Airlines.

Enrich Award

The generic term used to refer to Award Travel, Upgrade Award Travel, Enrich RM50 Vouchers and Golden Lounge Access Vouchers available from the Enrich programme.

Enrich Miles

Enrich Miles are the currency of the Enrich programme, and are the miles that may be used to redeem for Enrich Awards. Enrich Members may accrue Enrich Miles when they use the qualifying services or products of Malaysia Airlines, oneworld Airlines, Airline Partners or an Enrich Non–Airline Partner.

Enrich Partners

An Enrich Partner is a legal entity with whom Enrich has an agreement that allows Enrich Members to accrue and/or redeem Enrich Miles with as defined by Enrich from time to time.

Full Miles Award Travel

A Full Miles Award Travel redemption ticket means the Award Travel is redeemed fully in miles excluding applicable taxes and surcharges. A Full Miles Award Travel can be redeemed on flights operated by Malaysia Airlines or oneworld Airlines or Partner Airlines. Redemption on Malaysia Airlines flights can be done via Enrich Online.  Redemption on oneworld Airlines or Partner Airlines is available at Malaysia Airlines Call Center and Ticket Offices.

Goods and Services Tax (GST)

GST is Goods and Services Tax in Malaysia.  All Fees and Charges listed in this Terms and Conditions are exclusive of GST. Wherever applicable, GST may be charged to the Enrich Member/user of the Enrich Award.

Note :  Effective 1 June 2018, GST is at 0%.  

Malaysia Airlines Flights

Flights operated and marketed by Malaysia Airlines (excluding code share flights).

Malaysia Airlines Award Travel

Malaysia Airlines Award Travel means a Full Miles or Miles & Cash flight redemption booking and ticket made on flights operated solely by Malaysia Airlines or MASwings.

Member/Enrich Member

A member of the Enrich programme and may refer to any member holding Enrich Blue, Enrich Silver, Enrich Gold and/or Enrich Platinum status, as the case may be.

Membership Tier

The generic term used to refer to Enrich Blue, Enrich Silver, Enrich Gold and/or Enrich Platinum status.

Miles & Cash Award Travel

Miles & Cash is an Award Travel that allows members to redeem on Malaysia Airlines operated flights with a combination of miles and money in terms of cash or credit card, wherever applicable. 

Multi Carrier Redemption (MCR)

oneworld multi carrier redemption Award refers to an Award Travel  taken on either exactly two oneworld Airlines where Malaysia Airlines cannot be included or at least three oneworld Airlines where Malaysia Airlines can be included. A oneworld Airline and its oneworld member affiliates are treated as one entity in the airline count.

Non–Airline Partner

A legal entity, other than an airline, that participates in the Enrich programme where members may earn Enrich Miles. Non–Airline Partners include but are not limited to banks, credit/charge cards, hotels, telecommunications service providers, car rental companies and retail establishments.

oneworld Airline

Airlines and affiliates that are members of the oneworld Alliance.

oneworld Minimum Sector Rules

Eligibility for qualification and re-qualification to Enrich Elite Tier Status.

Platinum Spouse

A spouse is a husband or a wife as the case may be from a legally recognized marriage.

Upgrade Award Travel

An upgrade award travel redeemed from Economy Class to Business Class or Business Class to Business Suite on Malaysia Airlines solely operated flights when a qualifying paid ticket is purchased.

B. How To Become A Member

Enrolment

Membership in Enrich is free and open to anyone aged 2 years and above in countries and territories where such programmes are legal. Individuals under the age of 15 years must have evidence of parental or legal guardian consent before enrolment in the programme can be considered.

Acceptance of membership will be at the sole discretion of Malaysia Airlines. Membership is not confirmed and mileage will not be recognised until the application for membership has been processed and approved by Malaysia Airlines.  All decisions shall be final and any appeals or requests for membership will not be entertained.

Corporations and/or other legal entities are not allowed to enroll or be a Member of Enrich.

An Enrich Member may only maintain one (1) Enrich Account which will serve all business, personal and other needs for such Enrich Member. This account is not transferable.

In the event an Enrich Member is assigned to more than one membership number, the duplicate Account/s will be closed and all valid Enrich Miles shall be transferred to a single Account in that Enrich Member's name.

Upon enrolment, an Enrich Member will be accorded the benefits and recognition of an Enrich Blue Member. Malaysia Airlines and Enrich will not entertain any requests for an upgrade to Elite Status if the Enrich Member has not met the set qualifying criteria.

Enrich Members will receive their permanent membership card upon their first accrual activity with Malaysia Airlines or an Enrich Partner.

Request for card replacement will incur a processing fee as follows:-

• Blue and Silver : 1,000 Enrich Miles
• Gold :  500 Miles
• Platinum : No charge

Any taxes imposed by a government or governing body as a result of programme participation shall be the responsibility of the Enrich Member.

C. How to Earn Enrich Miles

General

Enrich Miles may only be accrued after enrolment in the Enrich programme. However, qualifying travel on Malaysia Airlines operated flights within 60 days of enrolment is eligible for Enrich Miles accrual by submitting an Enrich Missing Miles Claim online at your Enrich account. Claims for Enrich Miles retroactively for oneworld or Enrich partner flight activities and non-Malaysia Airlines partner activities prior to enrolment is strictly not allowed.

There is no minimum Enrich Miles guarantee. For qualifying flights with Malaysia Airlines, oneworld Airlines and Enrich Airline Partners, Enrich Members will earn the actual number of miles traveled as calculated using the Great Circle Distance calculation, plus any applicable Enrich Miles.

To ensure crediting of Enrich Miles, the Enrich Member must quote their Enrich membership number at time of reservation and present their signed membership card when using the services of Malaysia Airlines, oneworld Airlines and/or Enrich Partners. Failure to do so will result in non-crediting of Enrich Miles. If an Enrich Member presents a temporary membership card, they must also produce either their NRIC or a valid passport that matches the name used for enrolment. Malaysia Airlines and Enrich reserve the right to refuse crediting Enrich Miles if an Enrich Member fails or refuses to produce their NRIC or valid passport.

Each Enrich Partner may have different qualification criteria for awarding Enrich Miles. It is the responsibility of the Enrich Member to check with the Enrich Partner if Enrich Miles will be accrued for their activity with that Enrich Partner.

Enrich Miles may only be accrued once per Activity and credited to only one frequent flyer programme. The crediting of Enrich Miles to multiple frequent flyer programmes is not allowed. If a Member is found to have accrued miles in multiple frequent flyer programmes from a single Activity, Enrich has the right to close that Enrich Member's Account and void all Enrich Miles in the Account.

Enrich Miles for qualified Activities will be accrued by the Enrich Member using the product or service of Malaysia Airlines, oneworld Airlines and Enrich Partners regardless of who paid for the product or service.

Any products or services of Malaysia Airlines, oneworld Airlines and Enrich Airline Partners purchased but not used will not accrue Enrich Miles. Enrich Mileage accrual for Non-Airline Partners is subject to the terms and conditions of Enrich and the Non-Airline Partner.

The transfer of Enrich Miles or flights from one frequent flyer programme to another is not permitted.

The pooling of Enrich Miles by more than one Enrich Member into a single Account is not permitted. Enrich Miles may only be earned and credited to an Account by the person whose name the Account is registered.

Malaysia Airlines and Enrich reserve the right to close an Account and void all Enrich Miles in that Account without prior notice, if it is of the view that the Account have accrued Enrich Miles fraudulently or through any illegal means or methods.

Malaysia Airlines and Enrich reserves the right to audit any Enrich Member account (s) at any time for compliance with the Enrich programme’s Terms and Conditions without prior notice being given.

Earning Enrich Miles With Malaysia Airlines

Enrich Members may accrue Enrich Miles on Malaysia Airlines, oneworld Airlines, Airlines Partner applicable Economy Class, Premium Economy Class, Business Class and Business Suite qualifying fares as outlined in the Malaysia Airlines Mileage Accrual Table.

Enrich Miles are not earned for travel on:

• Flights on booking classes (U/I/W/E/X/T) and any other booking classes that are not listed in or are excluded in the Malaysia Airlines Mileage Accrual Table.
• Charter flights (MH8000 flight series)
• Freighter flights (MH6000 flight series)

Enrich Miles are also not earned for travel on:

• Infant fares
• Free tickets
• Award Travel Tickets
• Travel industry rebated tickets
• Airline Staff Tickets
• Competition prize tickets
• Tickets acquired at an Auction; or
• Tickets which are restricted from earning Enrich Miles or are subject to any specific provisions excluding the accumulation of Enrich Miles 

Malaysia Airlines Mileage Accrual Table

The following Mileage Accrual Table applies:-

Note: MH4000/ 5000/7000/9000 accrual applied as per qualifying fare class (RBD) as above.

Enrich Miles can only be earned once per qualifying flight.

Enrich Miles will only be credited to the Enrich Member's Account after the flight has been flown. Enrich Miles will be credited within one week of the qualifying flight provided the Enrich Member has presented their membership number during check in and complied with the requirements of section 'How to Earn Enrich Miles'.

In the event a flight is canceled due to operational reasons and Malaysia Airlines transfers the Enrich Member to another airline, the Enrich Member will accrue Enrich Miles as per their original Malaysia Airlines itinerary.

In the event a flight on oneworld or partner airline is cancelled due to operational reasons and the airline transfers the Enrich member to another airline, the Enrich member will accrue Enrich Miles as per the airline (s) original itinerary.

Earning Enrich Miles with oneworld Airlines and Enrich Partners

Enrich Members may accrue Enrich Miles when using the qualifying services and products of Enrich Partners.

Any fees imposed by Enrich Partners are the responsibility of the Enrich Member.

Enrich Partner programme participation dates may vary and Enrich Miles will be awarded according to the participating dates.

oneworld Airlines and Airline Partners may have different mileage accrual qualification criteria than Malaysia Airlines, and it is the Enrich Member's responsibility to clarify these criteria prior to purchasing a ticket and traveling with an Airline Partner.

Non-Airline Partners

• Hotel:

Enrich Members may earn Enrich Miles for qualifying hotel stays. Enrich Members’ name must appear on the invoice for the qualifying hotel stay to earn the Enrich Miles. Enrich Miles will only be awarded one time per stay regardless of the number of days or rooms booked. Only selected stays may qualify for accrual of Enrich Miles. Miles are awarded for hotel stays purchased at rates deemed eligible by the qualifying hotel, unless otherwise specified by the qualifying hotel. Miles will not be earned for stays of the following types:

a.   Stays purchased as part of package holidays

b.   Free hotel stays

c.   Stays at industry discount rates

d.   Stay at group rates or other special promotional rates; or

e.   Stays using Award Vouchers or discount certificates.

Enrich Members are advised to confirm with the qualifying hotel before or latest at time of booking if a stay will accrue Enrich Miles. Enrich Miles may be credited, if eligible to the Enrich Member's Account within 6 to 8 weeks

• Online Travel Agent: For hotel bookings made through online travel agents, an Enrich Member may earn Enrich Miles for completed bookings only. Enrich Miles will only be awarded one time per stay regardless of the number of days or rooms booked. Enrich Miles may be credited, if eligible to Enrich Member's account within 6 to 8 weeks after completion of the eligible hotel stay. Enrich Member cannot earn miles for cancelled bookings regardless of the cancellation fee.

• Credit/Charge Card:

Enrich Members may accrue Enrich Miles by converting their credit/charge card points to Enrich Miles. The card issuer's terms and conditions and programme rules shall apply. Enrich Members must contact the relevant credit/charge card partner directly to request a transfer. Enrich Miles are credited to the Enrich Member's Account within 2 weeks from the date of the request of transfer.

• Car Rental:

Enrich Members may earn Enrich Miles for qualifying car rentals. Enrich Members’ name must appear on the invoice for the qualifying car rental to earn the Enrich Miles.

Enrich Miles are awarded for car rentals purchased at rates deemed eligible by the car rental company. Miles will not be earned for car rentals of the type described below:

a.   Car rentals purchased as part of package holidays

b.   Free car rentals

c.   Car rentals at industry discount rates

d.   Car rentals at group rates or other special promotional rates; or

e.   Car rentals using Award Vouchers or discount certificates.

Enrich Miles will only be awarded one time per rental regardless of the number of cars rented or rental days. Enrich Member's are advised to contact the individual car rental company for specific terms and conditions on how to accrue Enrich Miles.  Enrich Miles may be credited, if eligible to the Enrich Member's Account within 6 to 8 weeks.

• Telecommunication:

Enrich Members may earn Enrich Miles when making qualifying international calls. Enrich Member's are advised to contact the individual service provider for specific terms and conditions on how to accrue Enrich Miles.

• Lifestyle:

Enrich Members may earn Enrich Miles when making qualifying purchases with Enrich Lifestyle Partners. Refer to the Enrich website for a complete list of Lifestyle Partners and mileage accrual terms. Enrich Miles may be credited, if eligible to the Enrich Member's Account within 6 to 8 weeks.

• Shopping:

Enrich Member’s may earn Enrich Miles on qualifying purchases with Enrich shopping partners.  Enrich Miles may be credited, if eligible to the Enrich Member’s Account within 6-8 weeks.

D. Managing Your Enrich Account

Validity of Enrich Miles

All Enrich Miles, Elite Miles and/or Elite Sectors accrued by Enrich Members are automatically credited to the Enrich Member's Account.

Enrich Miles are valid for the year in which they are earned plus an additional 3 years and will expire at the end of the month of the third year. For example, Enrich Miles credited into an Account on

18^th January 2018 will expire on 31^st January 2021.

It is the Enrich Member’s responsibility to be aware when their Enrich Miles will expire.  This can be monitored at any time online at enrich.malaysiaaairlines.com. Enrich members are advised to redeem their Enrich Miles prior to the expiry of their Enrich Miles.

Enrich Miles expiring at the end of the month may be extended till the end of the month in the following year at the cost of MYR 0.02 plus an administrative fee of MYR 40.00 per transaction.  The miles extension feature is only applicable to Enrich Members within 3 months prior to the expiry date until seven (07) months after the expiry date. Applicable GST may apply and shall be borne by the Enrich Member.

Expired Enrich Miles earned can only be extended once.

Elite Miles and/or Elite Sectors are tracked for the sole purpose of calculating an Enrich Member's qualification towards Elite Tier Status. Elite Miles may not be used towards the redemption of Enrich Awards nor can they be transferred, extended, purchased, sold or given to another member. Elite Miles and/or Elite Sectors are valid only in the calendar year in which they are earned and will expire at the end of that year.

Account Statement

A monthly electronic statement summary will be sent to members at the email address as registered in the Enrich Member’s profile settings.

Enrich Members are able to check their account status and account statement online by logging onto Enrich Online.

E. Redeeming Enrich Miles and Enrich Awards

General Guidelines

Enrich Members under the age of 15 years must have the prior written consent from a parent or guardian in order to redeem Enrich Miles. Only the Enrich Member may request to redeem Enrich Miles from their Account; no other person or entity may request for such a transaction. Enrich Miles may be redeemed as soon as they are credited to an Enrich Members Account.

To claim an Enrich Award, the Enrich Member must have sufficient Enrich Miles in their account. For members with insufficient miles, they may opt to redeem via Miles & Cash redemption, where separate terms and conditions shall apply.

Enrich Miles required to redeem an Enrich Award must be redeemed from a single Account. Enrich Miles may not be combined from multiple Accounts in order to redeem an Enrich Award.

Enrich Miles required to redeem an Enrich Award Travel on Malaysia Airlines operated flights for a  child (aged 2 to 11 years) or infant (aged 1 month to 23 months) may vary according to the applicable fares at the time of booking.  Redemption for infant on Business Suite is permitted.

Note : There is no Bassinet facility available in the Business Suite cabin.

A child (aged 2 to 11 years) or infant (aged 1 month to 23 months) is treated the same as an adult and requires the same number of Enrich Miles for an Enrich Award Travel on Partner Airline.

An “Unaccompanied Young Passenger” (child who has reached the 5th but not the 15th birthday and is not accompanied by his/her parents, guardian or a passenger aged 18 years or more) is not eligible for Enrich Online Award redemption ticket.

When making an Award Travel or Upgrade Award Travel reservation through Malaysia Airlines Call Centre or Ticket Offices, the Enrich Member must clearly indicate that Enrich Miles will be redeemed for this ticket. Failure to do so may result in the reservation being cancelled and no Award Travel being issued.

Getting a verbal price quote before making a booking, will not guarantee the same price as the price may change at any time and is subject to availability up until the booking is confirmed.

Award Travel and Upgrade Award Travel are tied to fares and vary according to seat availability, passenger demand and seasonality which may limit the number of seats available for Award Travels on Malaysia Airlines and Enrich Airline Partners. GST may be applicable depending on the flight route.  Other restrictions may apply during certain periods throughout the year.

Award Travel and Upgrade Award Travels will only be issued for a confirmed reservation. Open dated or waitlist tickets are not allowed.

Award Travels tickets will be automatically void if sectors on the tickets are used out of sequence.

All award travel tickets must be issued by Malaysia Airlines on a Malaysia Airlines document. Travel agencies are not allowed to issue Enrich Award travel tickets and any such tickets will not be accepted for travel.

Collection of Enrich Award ticket by an individual other than the Enrich Member must comply with the following conditions:-

The person nominated by the Enrich Member must present the following documents:

• The signed membership card or a copy of both sides of the membership card of the Enrich Member whose account the Enrich Miles will be deducted from
• A clear and legible photo copy of the NRIC (for Malaysian) or a valid passport of the Enrich Member whose account the Enrich Miles will be deducted from;
• An original letter of authorisation signed by the Enrich Member whose account the Enrich Miles will be deducted; and
• The authorised person's own valid photo ID or NRIC (for Malaysian).

Enrich Miles are deducted from the Enrich Member's Account when an Enrich Award is issued and not when a reservation or request is made.

Enrich Award Travel and Upgrade Award Travel must be issued before the given ticketing deadline otherwise the booking will be automatically cancelled.

Award Travel redemption is subject to the Fare Conditions (including GST, where applicable) and may vary according to the fare class of travel. All taxes including GST, fees and surcharges (where applicable) are the responsibility of the Enrich Member/user of the Enrich Award and are due at the time of issuance, ticketing and/or at departure.

Enrich Awards, industry discount, agency discount, free tickets, domestic Malaysia promotional fares, special restricted fares and tickets issued in S / N / Q / O / G / P / U / E / W / X / T / R / Z / I booking classes may not be used for the redemption of an Upgrade Award Travel. Upgrade Award Travel are subject to the rules of the purchased fare.

Award Travels and Upgrade Award Travels on Malaysia Airlines solely operated flights are valid according to the applicable fare conditions.

In the event of a flight cancellation or flight rescheduling, passengers travelling on an Enrich Award Travel will be re-routed as per the rules used for fare paying passengers.

Note :  Effective 1 June 2018, GST is at 0%. 

Sharing Enrich Awards

Members may redeem Award Travel and Upgrade Award Travel in the name of family members and friends.

Award Travel and Upgrade Award Travel redeemed in the name of family members and friends should be booked and ticketed following the same rules as for the Enrich Member.

Enrich Award Travel on Malaysia Airlines, oneworld Airlines and Airline Partners

Malaysia Airlines Award Travel

A Malaysia Airlines Award comprises of either a Award Travel or an Upgrade Award Travel made on Malaysia Airlines solely operated flights only.

The number of Enrich Miles required to redeem a Award Travel and the Fare Conditions applicable to that Award Travel, may be different depending on the type Award Travel chosen.  Members must consider the applicable Fare Conditions for each Award Travel before making a booking.

A passenger booking itinerary  traveling on a an Award Travel  and Upgrade Award Travel on Malaysia Airlines solely operated flights will follow the applicable fare rules and conditions of the Award or paid ticket.

When utilising an Enrich Award Travel and there is a sector in the itinerary which does not offer the class of travel redeemed for, a lower class of travel will be extended for the affected sector without any Enrich Miles adjustment.

Where mixed class travel is concerned, the Enrich Miles required for the Malaysia Airlines Award Travel will be priced according to the actual cabin classes taken on a prorate basis and will follow the applicable fare rules and conditions. Member must contact Malaysia Airlines Call Centre for the exact Enrich Miles required.

Backtracking is not permitted except as required by route restrictions. Backtracking occurs when a journey does not continue in the same direction where it began. An itinerary continuing a backtracking sector not required by route restrictions may require separate tickets.

Malaysia Airlines Awards may be re-issued on the same fare class redeemed or higher and only for travel on the same airline, by the same person and provided no part of the Malaysia Airlines Award has been utilized. Additional collection for any fare differential and taxes and charges in Cash/Credit Card may be required for any change in the itinerary according to the fare conditions. The validity of the re-issued Malaysia Airlines Award Travel will be as per the respective fare rules and conditions.

Malaysia Airlines Award can be booked through Enrich website, Malaysia Airlines Call Centre or any Malaysia Airlines Ticket Offices.

Enrich and Malaysia Airlines reserve the right to make changes to the Terms and Conditions associated with a Malaysia Airlines Award from time to time, including the Enrich Miles requirement.

Enrich Airline Partner Award Travel

For an award itinerary taken on 2 or more airlines, of which at least one is a non-oneworld airline partner, please note that a separate redemption ticket is required of non-oneworld airline partner(s). The total mileage required will be a summation of the mileage required of each ticket.

For an award itinerary taken on a combination of 2 or more oneworld airline partners, please refer to the oneworld Multi-Carrier Redemption Award Table for the Enrich Miles required.

Codeshare flights by airline partners are not allowed for redemption.

One-way redemption is possible but may not be available on all airline partners.

Stopover and open jaw are not permitted when using an Airline Partner Award.

Where mixed class travel is concerned, the mileage required for the Airline Partner Award is priced according to the actual cabin classes taken on a prorate basis. You may wish to contact Malaysia Airlines Call Centre for the exact mileage required.

Origin or turnaround point may not be used as an intermediate point in a one way or return trip journey.

Backtracking is not permitted except as required by route restrictions. Backtracking occurs when a journey does not continue in the same direction where it began. An itinerary continuing a backtracking sector not required by route restrictions may require separate tickets.

Miles will not be refunded for seat downgrade or any flight cancellations by oneworld Airlines or Enrich Airline Partners for Award Travel issued on them. Members are to contact the respective Partner Airline direct for re-booking.

Award Travel tickets once issued on a specific oneworld Airline or Enrich Airline partner flights cannot be changed to another oneworld or Enrich Airline partner flight.

An Airline Partner Award must be booked through the Malaysia Airlines Call Centre only.

• Ticket validity for Award Travels issued on behalf of oneworld Airlines and Enrich Airline Partners is six months from the date of travel.
• Extension of validity is strictly not allowed.
• Change fee of USD20 will apply for Airline Partner Award ticket as below:-   

Change of Date/Rerouting

i.   Fully Unutilized Ticket

For any change date/rerouting for fully unutilized ticket, the original ticket will be refunded with the above change fee. 

A new ticket will be issued for the new routing with the required Enrich Miles, taxes and charges applicable.

Any expired Miles for the original ticket refunded will be subject to an extension fee charge.

Award Travel issued on oneworld Airlines and Enrich Airline Partners shall be subject to each airline's Conditions of Carriage, copies of which may be obtained directly from the airline.

Enrich and Malaysia Airlines reserve the right to make changes to the changes to the terms and conditions associated with an Airline Partner Award from time to time, including the mileage requirement published in the Airline Partner Award Table.

Note : For Enrich Members Japan Domestic awards (entirely within Japan), each domestic sector for Award Travel shall be reserved no earlier than two months prior to the departure date of the flights.

oneworld Multi Carrier Redemption (MCR) Award

oneworld MCR Award refers to a Award Travel taken on either exactly two oneworld Airlines where Malaysia Airlines cannot be included or at least three oneworld Airlines where Malaysia Airlines can be included. An oneworld Airline and its oneworld member affiliates are treated as one entity in the airline count. Upgrade Award Travel and Companion Award Travel are not applicable. Refer to the oneworld Award Table for the mileage required for your award travel.

Only return trips are allowed. The first inbound point must coincide with the final outbound point.

Up to 5 stopovers are allowed in an oneworld Award.

Surface sectors (i.e. open jaws) are not permitted.

Up to 8 sectors, excluding surface sectors are allowed in an oneworld MCR Award.

An oneworld MCR Award must not be more than 50,000 miles in total trip distance. Longer journeys must be broken into separate tickets.

One city can only be included as origin or destination at most twice in an oneworld MCR Award.

Where mixed class travel is concerned, the mileage required for the oneworld MCR Award will be priced according to the actual cabin classes taken on a prorate basis. You may wish to contact Malaysia Airlines Call Centre for the exact mileage required.

An oneworld MCR Award must be booked through the Malaysia Airlines Call Centre.

Additional Rules for Upgrade Award Travel

Enrich Members’ must first purchase a ticket from Malaysia Airlines or a travel agent before calling Malaysia Airlines to make an Upgrade Award Travel reservation.

Travel agents may issue the purchased ticket on 232 document used in conjunction with the Upgrade Award Travel. However, reservations and issuing of the Upgrade Award Travel must be made through Malaysia Airlines on a Malaysia Airlines 232 document (e-ticket or EMD).

Only a one-class upgrade is allowed per purchased ticket. A qualified Economy Class ticket may be upgraded to Business Class, and a qualified Business Class ticket may be upgraded to Business Suite.

Upgrade Award Travel must be an advanced purchase and issued on a confirmed reservation and ticketed prior to check in.

Upgrade Award Travels are only available on Malaysia Airlines operated flights using Malaysia Airlines document commencing 232.

Upgrade Award Travels are not applicable on Malaysia Airlines flights ticketed on another airline document or using another airline document.

Enrich Miles will be accrued based on the class of travel purchased and not the class of travel flown.

In the event of flight disruption or cancellation, the reallocation will be based on the original fare class paid class. Members will not be eligible for the higher class redeemed with Enrich Miles.

The redemption Upgrade Miles in case of a downgrade due to flight disruption or cancellation will be refunded.

Upgrade Award Travels may be used for one-way and return trip tickets.

Only two sectors and one stopover/transfer are allowed with a one-way Upgrade Award Travel.

Fare rules and conditions of the purchased ticket apply to the Upgrade Award Travel.

Wherever applicable, GST may be charged to the Enrich Member/user of the Enrich Upgrade Award Travel.

Changes will be in the redemption upgrade miles and the fare class qualification.

F. How to Claim Missing Miles and Sectors

If Enrich Miles, Elite Miles and/or Enrich Sectors do not appear in your Account 6 to 8 weeks after the qualifying transaction, Members may submit a claim to Enrich with the following supporting documents, which must show the date and value of the qualifying transaction:

• for missing flight: a copy of the relevant ticket and original/copy of boarding pass
• for missing hotel stay; a copy of the hotel bill
• for missing car rental; a copy of the car rental agreement
• for others; a copy of the invoice, receipt or statement

Documents submitted for claims will not be returned.

A Missing Enrich Miles Claim must be submitted within 6 months from the date of the qualifying transaction. Requests for missing Enrich Miles, Elite Miles and/or Enrich Sectors made more than 6 months after the qualifying transaction will not be entertained. A Missing Enrich Miles Claim Form is available online at the Enrich Members' page. Enrich Members may submit the Missing Enrich Miles. Claim together with the necessary supporting documents via Enrich Online or email to enrich@malaysiaairlines.com.

Requests will require verification by Enrich, oneworld Airlines, Enrich Airline Partners and Enrich Non–Air Partners. If deemed a qualified transaction, the appropriate number of Enrich Miles will be credited to the Enrich Member's Account. Please allow 6-8 weeks for Enrich Miles to be reflected in the Account.

G. Elite Tier Status

Elite Tier Status will be awarded to an Enrich Member who qualifies for such status under guidelines set by Enrich.

Once a member achieves Elite Tier Status, they must re-qualify for such status, or a higher status, each year.

The membership term of an Elite Tier Status is the year in which the Enrich Member qualifies plus the period between 1 January to 31 December of the following year.

Taking a Malaysia Airlines flight (a flight number starting with MH) and travelling on oneworld Airlines qualifying fares as outlined in the Airline Mileage Accrual Table is the only way an Enrich member can earn Elite Miles/Sector.

Elite miles and Elite sectors are tracked on a year to year basis (per calendar year). Elite miles or Elite sectors are not accumulative.

Failure to re-qualify for Elite Tier Status each year will result in the Enrich Member being reclassified to the next lower Membership Tier.

Elite Miles and/or Elite Sectors are tracked for the sole purpose of calculating an Enrich Member's qualification towards Elite Tier Status. Elite Miles may not be used towards the redemption of Enrich Awards nor can they be transferred, extended, purchased, sold or given to another member. Elite Miles and/or Elite Sectors are valid only in the calendar year in which they are earned and will expire at the end of that year.

The following oneworld Minimum Sector Rules towards qualification and re-qualification to Elite Tier Status:

• Minimum 2 (Two) sectors for Enrich Silver on Malaysia Airlines Flights
• Minimum 4 (Four) sectors for Enrich Gold and Platinum on Malaysia Airlines Flights

H. Complimentary Platinum Spouse Nomination

The Complimentary Platinum Spouse Card is only extended to the legal spouse of the Principal Platinum Card Holder. The context of spouse in this instance is referred to either the husband or wife of the Principal cardholder.

Nominated Spouse must be above 18 years old.

Principal card holder must complete the Spouse Application Form as provided   in the Platinum Welcome Pack. The duly completed Spouse Application form must be emailed to enrich@malaysiaairlines.com for processing.  The Spouse Application Form can also be downloaded from Enrich website.

Nominated Spouse who is not an Enrich member will be enrolled into the programme and Spouse who has an existing Enrich account holder will be upgraded to Platinum.

Enrich/Elite Miles for qualified Activities will be accrued by the Spouse using the product or service of Malaysia Airlines, oneworld Airlines and Enrich Partners regardless of who paid for the product or services.

The pooling of Enrich Miles Account is not permitted. Enrich Miles may only be earned and credited into the Account by the Spouse whose name the Account is registered to.

Spouse who are upgraded to Platinum status and subsequently travels more than Principal will not be allowed to change their status as Principal Platinum.

Platinum members who are single are not eligible to nominate family members (parents/siblings) or friends.

New Platinum Spouse nomination including any changes or updates in nomination must be submitted in writing by the Principal Platinum Card Holder to enrich@malaysiaairlines.com, together with supporting documents for verification.

Both Principal and Spouse Enrich accounts will be aligned and therefore the status and year/expiry date of the Spouse Platinum Card shall be the same as the Principal Platinum Card Holder.  Eg. If Principal is re-classified to a lower tier, the Spouse account will follow the same status.

The nominated Platinum Spouse will be entitled to all benefits privileges as outlined in the Welcome pack and Enrich website.

Allow a minimum of 1 week from the date of submission for processing.

Enrich Malaysia Airlines reserves the right at its sole discretion to vary or amend any of the terms and conditions herein at any time, without any prior notice.

I. Closing Your Account

An Account that has 36 continuous months of inactivity will be closed.

An Enrich Member may choose to close their Account at any time with written notice; at which time any Enrich Miles, Elite Miles and/or Elite Sectors in the Account will be cancelled.

An Enrich Member who chooses to close their Account may not transfer, donate or give away their Enrich Miles, Elite Miles and/or Elite Sectors, Elite Tier Status or benefits they may be entitled to at that time.

An Account once closed (for any reason) will not be reinstated.

In the event of an Enrich Member's death, the Enrich Member’s Account will be closed. Upon written request and proof of death, any Enrich Miles in the deceased Enrich Member's Account may be transferred to the Account of the Enrich Member's in the order of spouse, children or parents with proof of relationship. Unmarried deceased members, next of kin in the order of parents, sister or brother (on first come first serve basis) will be accepted and applicable to only one account. The redeemable miles balance in the deceased account may be transferred to only one account and may not be divided amongst multiple Accounts. Elite Miles and/or Elite Sectors and Elite Tier Status or benefits will not be transferred. Expired miles will not be eligible for extension and will not be transferred to the next of kin.

Enrich Members wishing to close their Account are required to email their written request to enrich@malaysiaairlines.com.

J. General Conditions

Malaysia Airlines may change the programme rules or benefits from time to time with or without prior notice, even though such changes may affect the number of Enrich Miles that may be accrued, or the value of Enrich Miles already accumulated.

Malaysia Airlines has the right at any time, without limitation, to initiate any changes in the participating organisations, changes impacting the rules for earning or redeeming Enrich Miles, the award structure, the availability of awards, the rules for use of awards, the rules of qualification for different Membership Tiers and the features for special offers.

The ability to accrue Enrich Miles on participating carriers is contingent upon that carrier's continued participation in the Enrich programme.

Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to terminate the programme, or any part thereof, at any time with or without notice, even though such termination may affect the right to accrue Enrich Miles or redemption of awards.

Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to reverse or remove any Enrich Miles credited to a Member incorrectly, wrongfully, or not in accordance with, or in breach of, the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Malaysia Airlines may refuse transportation if the applicable miles are not paid for AWARD Travel ticket or Redemption Upgrade ticket. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to recover any short amount of miles collected for an Award Travel ticket or Redemption Upgrade ticket before start of journey or after completion of journey.  

The sale or barter of Enrich Miles, Enrich Awards or other benefits is prohibited and will result in the said items being forfeited or cancelled. In addition, the Enrich Member’s account may be suspended or closed and all Enrich Miles, Elite Miles and/or Elite Sectors accrued therein forfeited. Violators may be liable for damages, litigation and transaction costs.

Without prejudice to or limiting any of its rights, Malaysia Airlines may with or without notice and for any reasons withdraw, suspend, cancel and/or terminate any membership and/or the Enrich card and/or any of the benefits and services thereby offered including but not limited to the forfeiture and cancellation of all accrued Enrich Miles, Elite Miles and/or Elite Sectors, and unused Enrich Awards, upon the occurrence of any or more of the following events:-

• accrual or redemption of Enrich Miles fraudulently;
• engagement in any fraudulent activities under the programme;
• the death or declaration of bankruptcy of an Enrich Member;
• misuse or abuse of Enrich Awards;
• misrepresentation at any time of any information in any manner whatsoever;
• misconduct by an Enrich Member including any displays of conduct deemed inappropriate by Malaysia Airlines in any dealings with Malaysia Airlines including with its employees, and agents or at any airlines premises or at any airport.  Misconduct includes but is not limited to verbal or physical abuse of airline employees (s) or airline agent (s) or passenger(s), destruction or damage to property on any aircraft or at airline premises, or at any airport;
• failure to follow any programme policies and procedures;
• failure to comply with any of these Terms and Conditions or the terms and conditions of any Enrich Partner, oneworld Airlines, Airline Partner and Non-Airline Partner;
• failure to comply with Malaysia Airlines’ General Conditions of Carriage for Passengers and Baggage and any other applicable rules and regulations;

The Enrich Member may also be held liable for all damages, litigation and transaction costs, including but not limited to Enrich Miles previously redeemed. Notwithstanding the listing of sub-paragraphs (i) until (ix) of Clause 7 above which are non-exhaustive, Malaysia Airlines shall be under no obligation to disclose or assign any reasons for the withdrawal, suspension, cancel and termination.

Enrich Members whose accounts have been terminated or cancelled for any reason may not reopen a new Account.

Enrich Members must report any suspected unauthorised activity from their account immediately. Failure to do so may result in the Enrich Member being held liable for the activity in question.

Enrich may disclose or share the personal data of Enrich Members with Malaysia Airlines and/or Enrich Partners and suppliers, whether in Malaysia or otherwise, for purposes of marketing and communication and may include but not limited to:

• for purposes of provision of and/or promotion of services and/or products made available to Enrich Members through the Enrich programme; and/or
• for purposes of conducting research, including but not limited to evaluation and auditing of its existing and/or proposed services; and/or
• for purposes of maintaining and operating membership accounts.

Enrich Members may expressly request that Malaysia Airlines not use their personal data for the abovementioned purposes. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Enrich Members hereby consent to their personal data being transferred by Malaysia Airlines for these purposes.

Enrich Members are advised to inform Malaysia Airlines in writing of any change in personal data. Communications sent to an Enrich Member will be deemed delivered if emailed or posted to the membership address on record with Enrich. Only the Enrich Member may change and/or request to change personal details and particulars in their record. Members can also update their personal details e.g. address, telephone contact or email address online at www.malaysiaairlines.com.

At the discretion of Enrich, the programme may cease to send updates and related material to any Enrich Member who has not already opted out from receiving such information.

Malaysia Airlines hereby declares that some personal data is mandatory for Enrich Members’s participation and failure to disclose such personal data may affect the provision of services or products an Enrich Member is entitled under the Enrich programme.

Notwithstanding the above, Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to disclose Enrich Members' personal data and information relating to its activities under the Enrich programme in circumstances where it is required by law or any agency having jurisdiction over us.

Any taxes (including but not limited to GST), levies or duties incurred in connection with the accrual of Enrich Miles and use of Enrich Awards or programme benefits by an Enrich Member shall be the responsibility of and shall be borne by the Enrich Member or user of the Enrich Award or benefit, as the case may require.

If any provisions of these Terms and Conditions become invalid, illegal or unenforceable, such provision shall be ineffective to the extent of such invalidity, illegality or unenforceability and will not affect the other provisions.

Failure by Malaysia Airlines to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not be construed as a waiver of its right to enforce the breach of such provision or any other provision in these Terms and Conditions or as a waiver of any continuing, succeeding or subsequent breach of any provision of these Terms and Conditions.

It is the responsibility of the Enrich Member to keep themselves informed and updated on the rules of Enrich. Continued use of the programme by the Enrich Member will be deemed as acceptance of the current rules.

Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to interpret and apply the terms and conditions of the Enrich programme as it sees fit. All such determinations by Malaysia Airlines shall be final and conclusive in each case.

In accepting membership in Enrich, the said Enrich Member agrees to abide by the terms and conditions of the Enrich programme in its entirety. The Enrich Membership Card is the property of Enrich and must be forfeited upon request by Malaysia Airlines.

All information is correct at the time of publication and is subject to change without prior notice.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.

K. Enrich Services

Enrich Extension Terms and Conditions

Enrich Miles can be extended to one calendar year from the expired date/month. The miles extension feature is only applicable to members within 03 months before the expiry date until 07 months after the expiry date.

The extension fee is MYR 0.02 per Enrich Mile and an administration fee of MYR 40.00 will apply. The local equivalent rate shall apply for purchases made in other countries. Applicable GST may apply.

Payment by cash or credit card is accepted at any Malaysia Airlines Ticket Offices and Malaysia Airlines Call Center.

Extended Enrich Miles will remain in the Enrich Member’s Account, with the new expiration date and the Enrich Miles may be used at any time during its validity.

Please allow a minimum of one (1) week from the date of extension for Enrich Miles to be reflected in your Account if processed at Malaysia Airlines Ticket Offices.

Enrich Miles once expired cannot be extended retroactively. Failure to redeem expiring Enrich miles will result in member having to pay to extend the expired miles. Appeals to extend the expired miles will not be entertained.

Extended Enrich Miles do not count towards Elite Tier Status.

Enrich Malaysia Airlines reserves the right at its sole discretion to vary or amend any of the terms and conditions herein at any time, without any prior notice.

Enrich Transfer Terms and Conditions

Enrich Miles may only be transferred between Enrich Accounts that are active and in good standing.

Enrich Miles may not be transferred or exchanged with any other frequent flyer programmes, loyalty programmes or promotional schemes.

Enrich Miles may be transferred at a minimum of 1,000 Enrich Miles at a rate of MYR 0.04 per Enrich Mile. An administration fee of MYR 40.00 will apply for the transfer of Enrich Miles. The local equivalent rate shall apply for purchases made in other countries. Applicable GST may apply.  Effective 1 June 2018, GST is at 0%.

Payment by cash or credit card is accepted at any Malaysia Airlines Ticket Office and Malaysia Airlines Call Center.

Please allow a minimum of 1 week from the date of transfer for Enrich Miles to be reflected in your Account if processed at Malaysia Airlines City Ticket Offices.

An Enrich Member may transfer an unlimited number of Enrich Miles from their Account to any number of other Enrich Accounts. The maximum number of Enrich Miles that an Account may receive through Enrich Miles Transfer is 50,000 Enrich Miles per calendar year.

Enrich Miles once transferred and received are valid for the current year and will expire at the end of the month of the third year. For example, Enrich Miles received in an Account on 18^th January 2018 will expire on 31^st January 2021.

Transferred Enrich Miles will not count towards Elite Tier Status qualification.

The use of Transferred Enrich Miles is subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Enrich programme.

Enrich Malaysia Airlines reserves the right at its sole discretion to vary or amend any of the terms and conditions herein at any time, without any prior notice.

Buy Miles Terms and Conditions

Enrich Members may purchase Enrich Miles (“Buy Miles”) from 24^th April 2018 which may be redeemed for Enrich Award Flights (flight on Malaysia Airlines, oneworld airlines and partner airlines), seat upgrades, Golden Lounge Access vouchers and Enrich RM50 vouchers Temptations In-flight shopping.

Buy Miles can only be purchased at a minimum of 1,000 Enrich Miles per transaction with a maximum of 50,000 Enrich Miles per transaction.

A maximum of 150,000 Enrich Miles can be purchased per calendar year per Enrich member.

Buy Miles may be purchased at a rate of USD 0.025 per mile. The local equivalent rate shall apply for purchases made in countries outside Malaysia. Applicable GST may apply.  Effective 1 June 2018, GST is at 0%.

Buy Miles have a 3-year validity term which will expire at the end of the month in which it was purchased in the third year.

After successful completion of payment transaction, Malaysia Airlines will credit the Buy Miles purchased into the Enrich member’s account within 1 to 3 days. 

Buy Miles do not count towards Elite Tier Status qualification.

Once purchased, the purchase is non-refundable.

Buy Miles is not available for purchase at Malaysia Airlines Call Centre & ticket offices.

The use of Buy Miles is subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Enrich programme.

Malaysia Airlines reserves the right at its sole discretion to vary or amend any of the terms and conditions herein at any time, without any prior notice.

Buy Miles transactions are processed by Malaysia Airlines’ partner Loylogic Rewards FZE and its affiliates, including Loylogic Inc (“Loylogic”).

In order to process the Buy Miles transactions, Enrich members have to provide their personal data including name, email address and credit card information. Enrich members consent to their personal data being collected and processed by Malaysia Airlines and Loylogic and such personal data being shared with third party providers for the purpose of processing and completing necessary transactions, including advising Malaysia Airlines of the number of points to be credited into Enrich accounts. Malaysia Airlines and Loylogic shall not be liable for any incorrect personal data received or submitted as governed by Loylogic’s Privacy & Cookies Policy and Malaysia Airlines Personal Data Privacy Policy.

Consent to Transfer and Use: Enrich members have further acknowledged and agreed that by providing Loylogic with any personal or proprietary information, Enrich members hereby give their consent to the transmission of such personal or proprietary information over international borders for the purpose of processing the relevant transactions. Enrich members hereby give their further consent to the use of such personal data on an anonymized basis for statistical objectives.

Malaysia Airlines shall not be liable for any disruption during the Buy Miles transaction, whether due to technical problems or otherwise, which is beyond its reasonable control. In the event of any disruption, reasonable effort shall be used to remedy the disruption and resume the Buy Miles transaction on a fair and equitable basis to Enrich members.

Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend the purchase of Buy Miles without any prior notice. For the avoidance of doubt, any cancellation, termination or suspension by MAB shall not entitle any Enrich member to any claim or compensation against Malaysia Airlines, its agents and employees for any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred as a direct or an indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension thereof.

The Terms and Conditions herein shall be construed, governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Members agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malaysia over all matters arising from this Buy Miles transaction.

Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to reverse or remove any Buy Miles credited into an Enrich member’s account incorrectly or not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

By participating in this Buy Miles transaction, it is deemed that the Enrich members have read and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Any breach of these Terms and Conditions may, at Malaysia Airlines’ absolute discretion, result in forfeiture of any of miles purchased.

L. Enrich Vouchers

The Enrich RM 50 Voucher(s) can only be redeemed online with Enrich Miles at www.enrich.malaysiaairlines.com and may not be purchased with cash or credit card.

The Enrich RM50 Voucher is only available in a denomination of RM50 and each Enrich RM50 Voucher redemption requires 5,000 Enrich Miles. Member will be liable for processing and courier charges. Applicable GST may apply. Enrich reserves the right to revise the Enrich Miles required redeem an Enrich RM50 Voucher.

The Enrich RM 50 Voucher (s), once issued, is non-refundable and may not be exchanged for cash.

The Enrich RM 50 Voucher (s) is transferable, however, the person using the Enrich RM 50 Voucher (s) must be an Enrich Member.

At time of use, the person using this Enrich RM 50 Voucher (s) must present his/her passport or National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) and Enrich card.

The Enrich RM 50 Voucher (s) is valid for six (6) months from the date of issue.  The validity of the Enrich RM 50 Voucher (s) cannot be extended and once expired, shall be void.

The original Enrich RM 50 Voucher (s) MUST be presented at the time of use.

The Enrich RM 50 Voucher (s) is valid for Malaysia Airlines only and cannot be redeemed for products and services by oneworld and Enrich partner airlines.

The Enrich RM 50 Voucher (s) may be used as partial/full payment for Temptations Inflight Shopping (where Inflight Sales is available) and Shopping with Enrich Partners during special promotions.

Enrich member is allowed to use a maximum of 10 Enrich RM 50 Vouchers amounting to RM500 per Temptations Items purchase.  Purchases on Temptations items using the Enrich RM 50 Voucher (s) are not eligible to earn Enrich Miles.

In a case where the full value of the Enrich RM 50 Voucher (s) is not utilized, no refund of cash or Enrich Miles will be given.

The Enrich RM 50 Voucher(s) will be delivered to the Member via courier within 14 working days of receiving the redemption request. It is the Member's responsibility to notify Enrich of any late or non-delivery of the Enrich RM 50 Voucher (s) within twenty one (21) working days from date of redemption.

All deliveries will be deemed received and accepted by member or on member’s behalf upon there being an acknowledgement of receipt by any person/persons receiving at the address as provided by members Upon delivery and acknowledgement of receipt of the Enrich RM50 Voucher(s) in the foregoing manner, no replacement Enrich RM 50 Voucher (s) will be issued.

The Enrich RM 50 Voucher(s) will only be delivered via courier to the address stated in the online form. Delivery to a PO Box address is not allowed The Member will be liable for all processing and courier charges, which will be payable either through the redemption of Enrich Miles or credit card at the time Member redeems for the Enrich RM 50 Voucher(s). The number of Enrich Miles required for processing and courier charges is dependent on the address stated by Member. Applicable GST may apply.

Note :  Effective 1 June 2018, GST is at 0%.

Processing Courier Charges

In the event of incomplete delivery due to change of delivery address or Member not being contactable or delivery accepted by other person (s) at the address provided on behalf of member (s), Member's miles will be deducted for courier charges as per the above table for  any request for re-delivery of Enrich RM 50 Voucher (s).

Vouchers with overseas (other than Malaysia) address will be disposed by the courier company if members are not contactable or not reachable for delivery at the contact address or number given within the timeline given. Vouchers will be deemed void and member will have to redeem new vouchers

Enrich Members are advised to check their Enrich RM 50 Voucher(s) upon acceptance of delivery and should contact Malaysia Airlines Call Center if the Enrich RM 50 Voucher(s) are found to be damaged. Damaged Enrich RM 50 Voucher(s) will not be accepted for use and will only be reissued if they are returned to Enrich at P.O. 8001, Kelana Jaya, 46780 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia within fourteen (14) working days of receipt of delivery by Member.  Member must email to enrich@malaysiaairlines.com for further enquiries.

Lost, stolen or misplaced Enrich RM 50 Voucher (s) will be deemed void and will not be reissued.

Enrich Malaysia Airlines reserve the right at its sole discretion, to vary or amend any of the Terms and Conditions herein at any time, without prior notice.

Enrich Voucher(s) for Golden Lounge Access Voucher may be requested online at www.enrich.malaysiaairlines.com.

Two types of Enrich Voucher(s) for Golden Lounge Access are available;

• Enrich Voucher for Domestic Golden Lounge Access allows entry to selected Domestic Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounge(s) and can be redeemed at 7,000 Enrich Miles per Voucher.
• Enrich Voucher for International Golden Lounge Access allows entry to the Malaysia Airlines International Golden Lounges at Kuala Lumpur, London and Kota Kinabalu and can be redeemed at specified fixed Enrich miles. 

The Domestic vouchers(s) can be used at either Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu, Penang or Kuching. Other destinations as stated on the International voucher(s) cannot be changed or re-designated.

Each Enrich Voucher for Golden Lounge Access admits one person to the Golden Lounge. Each voucher for Golden Lounge Access is valid for one-time use only, and valid only for the Business Class section of the Golden Lounge.

Enrich Voucher(s) for Golden Lounge Access is only available by redemption of Enrich Miles and may not be purchased with cash or credit card.

Miles redeemed for Golden Lounge Access is non-refundable and miles will not be re-credited or may not be exchanged for cash.

This Enrich Voucher is transferable. The bearer or nominee must be an Enrich member and must present his/her valid passport or NRIC (for Malaysian) prior to entry at the respective Domestic or International Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounge as specified at the front of the voucher.

This Enrich Voucher is valid for pre-flight departure lounge access only and to be utilised on a Malaysia Airlines flight on that day.

This Enrich Voucher is not valid at Third Party Lounges (lounges not operated by Malaysia Airlines) and oneworld lounges.

Lost, stolen, misplaced or illegible Enrich Voucher(s) for Golden Lounge Access will be deemed void and will not be re-issued.

Enrich Voucher(s) for Golden Lounge Access is valid for a period of six (6) months from the date of issue. The validity of the voucher(s) cannot be extended and once expired, shall be void.

Enrich Malaysia Airlines reserves the right at its sole discretion to vary or amend any of the terms and conditions herein at any time, without any prior notice.

M. Award Travel

General Guidelines

Only the Enrich Member may request to redeem Enrich Miles from their Account; no other person or entity may request for such a transaction.

To claim an Award, the Enrich Member must have sufficient Enrich Miles in their account. For members with insufficient miles, they may opt to redeem via Miles and Cash redemption online (Miles and Cash terms and conditions apply).

Fare calculation rules for Award are different from travel on paid tickets.

Enrich Miles required to redeem an Award must be redeemed from a single Account. Enrich Miles may not be combined from multiple Accounts in order to redeem an Enrich Award.

Award Travel are subject to seat capacity control, which may limit the number of seats available for Enrich Travel Awards on Malaysia Airlines and Other restrictions may apply during certain periods throughout the year. Award will only be issued for a confirmed reservation. Open dated or waitlist tickets are not allowed.

Sharing Enrich Award Travel

Members may redeem an Award Travel in the name of family members and friends.

Award Travel redeemed in the name of family members and friends should be booked and ticketed following the same rules as for the Enrich Member.

Online Award Travel Ticketing Rules

Award Travel tickets on Malaysia Airlines may be issued in ticketing classes ‘L/V/S/N/K/M/B/H’on Economy Class, 'D’ on Business Class and 'A or P’ on Business Suite.

A passenger traveling on an Award Travel is not allowed to make stopover per one way or return trip journey.

For the purpose of connection, a passenger traveling on an Award is allowed to make one transfer at an intermediate point on a one-way journey, and one transfer for the outbound and one transfer for the inbound for a return trip journey.

A passenger is not permitted to transfer at an intermediate point more than twice on a single Enrich Award.

Origin or turnaround point may not be used as an intermediate point in a one way or return trip journey

Backtracking is not permitted except required by route restrictions. Backtracking occurs when a journey does not continue in the same direction where it began. An itinerary continuing a backtracking sector not required by route restrictions may require separate tickets.

Only point – to - point one way and mirror like return Online Enrich Awards are allowed.

Route restrictions may apply and will not be available for Award Travel.

Stopover, open-jaw is not permitted for Award Travel.

Mixed Class is not permitted for one-way journey for Award.

Mixed class is only permitted for return trip with the entire outbound journey being valid only on one class-type and entire inbound journey in the other class-type.

Enrich Miles are deducted from the Enrich Member's Account when an Online Enrich Award Travel is issued and not when a reservation or request is made.

All taxes (including but not limited to GST), fees and surcharges where applicable are the responsibility of the Enrich Member/user of the Enrich Award and are due at the time of issuance, ticketing and/or at departure.  

Award Travel, may only be utilised for travel on a Malaysia Airlines' scheduled flight.

Redemptions for mixed carrier Award Travel are not allowed; travel must be solely on Malaysia Airlines.

Award Travel are valid for travel on Malaysia Airlines operated flights (excluding charter services on MH8000 series and code share services on MH4000/5000/9000 series). Redemption on MASwings operated by DHT aircraft and Firefly not permitted.

Once an Award Travel is issued it is considered used if not utilised for the flight reserved. Enrich Miles cannot be re-deposited nor can taxes, fees and surcharges paid be refunded.

The origin and destination points for one-way travel must be different when utilising a one-way Enrich Award. For return trip Enrich Awards, the outbound origin and inbound destination must be the same.

In the event of a flight cancellation or flight rescheduling, passengers travelling on an Enrich Award will be re-routed as per the rules used for fare paying passengers.

Enrich Online Award Travel may be reissued only for travel on the same airline, by the same person and provided no part of the Enrich Award has been utilised. Additional Enrich Miles may be required for any change in the itinerary. If the new itinerary requires fewer Enrich Miles, the excess Enrich Miles will not be refunded. A re-issuance fee will apply. The re-issued Enrich Award will have the same expiry date as the original Enrich Award. The reissuance can only be done at any nearest Malaysia Airlines Ticket offices.

Online Award Travel (one way and return trip) on Malaysia Airlines operated flights may be booked in all applicable class of service as specified under item 1 of the ‘Online Travel Award Ticketing Rules’. Once issued, Enrich Awards may not be transferred or the Enrich Miles re-deposited into an Enrich Member’s Account.

N. Malaysia Airlines Award Travel Flight Redemption Terms & Conditions (“these Terms and Conditions)

Malaysia Airlines Flights means flights operated by Malaysia Airlines and MASwings* operated flights, except for Malaysia Airlines codeshare and Malaysia Airlines marketed flights which are excluded from this definition. *not valid on MASwings flights operated by DHT aircraft type.

Malaysia Airlines Award Travel means a Full Miles or Miles & Cash Award Travel flight redemption booking and ticket made on Malaysia Airlines Flights.

A Full Miles Award Travel redemption ticket means the Award Travel is redeemed fully in miles excluding applicable taxes and surcharges which, are to be paid in cash/credit card. A Full Miles Award Travel can be redeemed on Malaysia Airlines Flights or oneworld Airlines or Partner Airlines. Redemption on Malaysia Airlines Flights can be done via Enrich Online or MH.com website.  Redemption on oneworld Airlines or Partner Airlines is only available at Malaysia Airlines Call Center and Ticket Offices.

Miles & Cash Award Travel is a redemption option that allows Enrich members to redeem flights with a combination of Enrich miles and cash/credit card.

Malaysia Airlines Award Travel tickets can only be redeemed on Malaysia Airlines Flights.

The Malaysia Airlines Award Travel online redemption option is not available on Partner Airlines and/or oneworld Airlines.

Malaysia Airlines Award Travel redemption option is available online at Enrich Online or MH.com and at Malaysia Airlines Call Center and Ticket Offices.

Malaysia Airlines Award Travel redemption is subject to the Fare Conditions (including GST, where applicable) and may vary according to the fare class of travel.

All Malaysia Airlines Award Travel redemption tickets must be on available and confirmed seat basis at the time of booking. Not applicable for waitlist or open dated tickets.

All Malaysia Airlines Award Travel is subject to seats being available on eligible class (es) of travel on Malaysia Airlines Flights. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to change these class (es) without any prior notice.  The following are excluded and cannot be booked with miles:-

• Fares with booking classes Q/O/G/Y/Z/C/J/F
  
• Codeshare flights and MASwings flights operated by DHT aircraft type
• Ancillaries such as seats, meals and insurance

The number of Enrich Miles required to redeem a Malaysia Airlines Award Travel redemption vary. The fares and applicable fare conditions vary according to flight and seat availability, passenger demand, seasonality, and ticket conditions. The number of miles required for redemption depends on the Malaysia Airlines Flights member(s) chooses and the applicable ticket conditions. Member(s) are guided to make an informed comparison, before deciding on the best option for their travel needs.

The Malaysia Airlines Website will provide available fares at time of seat availability check and the actual total Miles or Miles & Cash required will be reflected upon selecting and confirming the flights. The total fare shown after selecting the flights for the redemption, will apply.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in these Terms & Conditions, the number of Miles or Miles and Cash payment required to obtain a Malaysia Airlines Award Travel redemption ticket are subject to change at any time, with or without prior notice. Accordingly, the number of Enrich Miles and amount of money quoted on the website when booking a Miles or Miles & Cash Award Travel are only valid at the time quoted. If a booking is delayed or not completed when quoted, the number of Enrich Miles and payment amounts quoted for the requested itinerary may change and the final fare shown after selecting the flights for the redemption will apply.

Malaysia Airlines Award Travel ticket may only be booked: 

• at the time specified in the Fare Conditions and or up to 04 hours before the scheduled departure of flights.
• Some fare conditions may require an advance purchase period to be observed.

There shall be no fixed relationship or conversion between the cash fare charged for a seat and the Enrich Miles required to redeem a Malaysia Airlines Award Travel. The exact amount varies according to the applicable conversion rate at the time of booking. Fare Conditions for Malaysia Airlines Travel Award may be different to the fare conditions applicable to cash fares.

Enrich members must login to his/her Enrich membership account online as part of the Miles & Cash redemption booking and ticketing process.

Malaysia Airlines Award Travel redemption is available solely on applicable itineraries of Malaysia Airlines Flights.

Enrich members must have a minimum of 1000 Enrich miles in their Enrich account to be eligible for Malaysia Airlines Award Travel option online. 

Enrich Miles under the Malaysia Airlines Award Travel redemption offer will be redeemed per sector, per member, from the respective membership account.

Miles & Cash Award Travel redemption for children of 02 years - below 12 years and infant below 23 months is available in accordance and as specified in the Fare Conditions for a child and infant ticket.

Member will NOT earn miles for the cash value paid on the Miles & Cash Award Travel redemption.

Miles cannot be converted to or exchanged for money.

Malaysia Airlines Award Travel redemption is not applicable for group travel bookings involving ten and more passengers.

In the event member wishes to make any changes to an unutilized or partly utilized Malaysia Airlines Award Travel redemption ticket, it will be in accordance with the applicable Fare Conditions and these Terms and Conditions. Any payments involving changes to a Malaysia Airlines Award Travel redemption (other than for refunds) must be paid with cash/credit card as specified in the Fare Conditions. For the purposes of calculating any such payments, the original fare or commercial ticket value (as referred to in the Fare Conditions) of the Malaysia Airlines Award Travel will be calculated as the remaining cash value of the unused ticket determined in accordance with the Fare Conditions.

Award Travel may be reissued only for travel on the same airline, by the same person and provided no part of the Award Travel has been utilized and will be subject to the Fare Conditions of the ticket on penalties or cancellation fees and these Terms and Conditions.

Award Travel may be reissued for a higher fare class or cabin subject to Fare Conditions. Any difference in fare including any taxes, fees and carrier charges (including GST) at time of reissuance of the ticket will be required to be paid in cash/credit card only for  Malaysia Airlines Award Travel and in miles only for Partner Award Travel, subject to the applicable fare conditions and these Terms and Conditions. Reissue to a lower fare class is strictly not allowed.

Change in destination to a completely unutilized/unused Award Travel is allowed subject to the Fare Conditions. If the fare to the new destination is lower, the fare difference will not be refunded.

Rerouting to a partly utilized/used Award Travel ticket is not allowed.

Member is not allowed to redeem with miles or purchase the additional miles by cash or credit card for the change to the Award Travel ticket.

Redemption Upgrades are not allowed for Malaysia Airlines Award Travel tickets.

Members are NOT allowed to combine miles from different accounts to redeem an Award Travel ticket.

The Enrich Miles required for a Malaysia Airlines Award Travel redemption (or the Enrich Miles required plus the amount of any money payment required for Miles & Cash option) shown at this website will not include taxes, fees and carrier charges (including GST) at time of redeeming the ticket which Member will be required to pay in cash. The Member will also be required to pay any other fees, any additional local airport fees and charges collected at the time of check-in and any fees (and GST on those fees) payable that may not be part of the fare conditions of the Award Travel redeemed.   

Miles redeemed for an Award Travel is NOT refundable to the original account or used in exchange for a different Award Travel. This applies regardless of whether the refund request is made before the Award Travel has been issued or whether the Award Travel is completely unused or partly used. However, the cash portion of a Miles & Cash Award Travel is refundable by credit to the credit card used and will be subject to the Fare Conditions of the ticket on penalties or cancellation fees and these Terms and Conditions. 

Unless stated otherwise in these Terms and Conditions, where a flight involving a Malaysia Airlines Award Travel is  cancelled, and the applicable Fare Conditions provide that the original fare may be used as a credit towards the payment of a new fare, and the original fare or commercial ticket value (as referred to in the Fare Conditions) is required for this purpose, then the original fare or commercial ticket value of the Malaysia Airlines Award Travel redemption ticket will be calculated as the remaining cash value of the unused ticket determined in accordance with the Fare Conditions. However any expired miles will not be refunded and will be forfeited.

Enrich reserves the right to change the price of the Malaysia Airlines Award Travel ticket and / or number of Enrich Miles to be redeemed or impose additional restrictions at any time with or without prior notice.

All other Terms and conditions of online booking and e-ticketing and other applicable regulations will apply in addition to these Terms and Conditions mentioned above.

In the event of any discrepancy between these Terms and Conditions with other terms and conditions, the Malaysia Airlines Award Travel Flight Redemption Terms and Conditions shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.

The use of Enrich miles against this offer is subject to these Terms and Conditions and all other Terms and Conditions of the Enrich programme. The terms and conditions of the Enrich programme are subject to change at any time with or without notice.

O. Personal Data Protection Act 2010

Malaysia Airlines shall ensure that the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data in the Enrich Enrolment Form (EEF) is consistent with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (‘PDPA’). It is acknowledged that personal data collected and processed in this EEF is obtained voluntarily and with your consent. Malaysia Airlines shall ensure that under no circumstances is the collected data, to be disclosed or sold or passed on to third-parties for any reason. However, Malaysia Airlines may disclose the data collected for a purpose directly related to the purpose it was disclosed at the time of collection to a third party such as other Malaysia Airlines affiliates and subsidiaries or in circumstances specified in the Malaysia Airlines Personal Data Privacy Policy as published at www.malaysiaairlines.com/cn/en/footer/privacy-policy.html. Malaysia Airlines should not be held liable for any damage caused as a result of the collection, use, disclosure, loss, misuse, modification, unauthorised or accidental access, alteration or destruction of your personal data unless the actions of Malaysia Airline were deliberate or grossly negligent.
